Vienna, December 23, 2024 – ROXCEL Group has taken a major strategic step forward with the expansion of its business into the international sales and servicing of offset printing presses for packaging and metal decorating. This milestone marks the launch of a new, independent business unit under the umbrella of ROXCEL Printing GmbH, headquartered in Vienna.
On December 19, 2024, ROXCEL Printing completed the acquisition of R+W Druckmaschinen GmbH & Co KG, Karlstein. With a long-standing reputation in the printing industry, R+W provides a full range of technical services including maintenance, repairs, overhauls, machine installations, relocations, and spare parts supply. Moving forward, the company will operate under the new name R+W Druckmaschinen GmbH, Karlstein, as a wholly owned subsidiary of ROXCEL Printing.
To further support its global ambitions in printing press services, two additional subsidiaries were established:
- ROXCEL Printtec GmbH, Vienna – focusing on packaging printing machinery.
- ROXCEL Metal Decoration GmbH, Vienna – specializing in metal decorating equipment.
These entities will handle the international trade, marketing, installation, and servicing of relevant machinery, ensuring seamless, certified operations for customers around the globe.
The team behind this expansion brings deep industry experience. The previous owners of R+W, Christian Büttner and Knut Müller, will continue with the group as co-partners of ROXCEL Printing. Joining them is Herbert Noichl, a long-term ROXCEL collaborator, who takes on the role of managing director and co-partner at ROXCEL Printing.
“With the creation of this new and independent business unit, we are pleased to significantly expand our range of services and offer our global customers further added value,” says Ahmad Porkar, founder of the ROXCEL Group.
The ROXCEL Group, headquartered in Vienna, is a global player in the pulp, paper, and board industry. With operations in Austria, Germany, and Slovenia and over 30 international sales offices, ROXCEL serves customers in more than 100 countries.
